Annie Lennox<\/a> has shared a reimagined version of her song \u2018Why?\u2019, which she recorded to benefit \u2018Together For Palestine<\/a>\u2018. Check it out below.<\/p>\n The original track was first shared back in 1992 as part of Lennox\u2019s debut solo album \u2018Diva\u2019, and remains one of her biggest hits. For the new version of the song, she has reimagined the classic track for \u2018Together For Palestine\u2019.<\/p>\n For the latest rendition, Lennox replaced the ending of the song with some powerful new lyrics \u2013 using the track to raise awareness for the people in Gaza.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is the book I never read \/ These are the words I never said \/ This is the path I\u2019ll never tread \/ These are the dreams I\u2019ll dream instead \/ This is the joy that\u2019s seldom spread \/ These are the tears we shed,\u201d <\/em>she usually sings. \u201cThis is the fear, this is the dread \/ These are the contents of my head \/ And these are the years that we have spent \/ And this is what they represent.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n For the new version, these have been reimagined as: \u201cThis is the sound of drones and guns, watch the people run run run.
