Grey\u2019s Anatomy star Brad Everett Young has died aged 46 in a car crash<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The actor<\/a> and celebrity photographer was coming home after watching a film on Sunday night when his car was hit by a vehicle going the wrong way, his publicist said.<\/p>\n

Young – who photographed stars like Stranger Things actor <\/a>David Harbour<\/a> – died at the scene on the Ventura Freeway in Los Angeles, while the other driver was hospitalized and survived.<\/p>\n

The Virginia native got his start as an actor in the late 1990s, appearing in shows like Grey’s Anatomy<\/a> and Boy Meets World, as well as films like Love & Basketball, Charlie’s Angels, and I Love You, Man.<\/p>\n

He played an appendectomy patient in a series five episode of Grey\u2019s Anatomy that aired in 2008.<\/p>\n

\u201cBrad\u2019s passion for both the arts and the people behind them was unmatched,\u201d his publicist Paul Christensen said in a statement.<\/p>\n

General Hospital star Parry Shen paid tribute to Young (Instagram)<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cHe lived his mission of keeping creativity alive, and his legacy will continue through Dream Loud Official.\u201d<\/p>\n

Young founded the arts education program Dream Loud Official, which was implemented in schools across America.<\/p>\n

The initiative\u2019s motto is that “creativity is not a luxury but an essential part of education,” according to its website.<\/p>\n

He is survived by his brother, Chris.<\/p>\n

He was known for photographing celebrities<\/a> like Paul Walker, David Harbour, and Seth Green, during photo shoots and red carpet events,<\/p>\n

Young worked on projects for publications such as Vogue, Elle, Vanity Fair, The Hollywood Reporter, and Harper’s Bazaar.<\/p>\n

The photographer\u2019s former co-stars shared tributes to him on social media.<\/p>\n

Bryan Craig, who previously played Morgan on General Hospital, wrote: “This is never the type of article you want to post for someone you know<\/p>\n

“This is devastating. R.I.P. to a great guy that always had a smile on.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chris McKenna, who plays Jack on General Hospital, shared some of Young’s pictures with the caption: “These were taken just a couple weeks ago by the late @bradley206 we won’t see another like him.\u201d<\/p>\n

General Hospital actor Parry Shen penned: \u201cBrad Everett Young was one of the kindest and most generous people I have ever met.<\/p>\n

“But the one trait that made him truly stand out in this business, often filled with cynicism, was his indomitable positivity.”<\/p>\n
