Madonna<\/a> has announced her return to Warner Records with a new dance album, \u2018Confessions Of A Dance Floor Part 2\u2019, scheduled for 2026.<\/p>\n It comes almost two decades after the pop icon departed the label, with which she was signed for the first 25 years of her career.<\/p>\n \u201dFrom being a struggling artist in New York City to signing a record deal to release just three singles, it seemed at the time my world would never be the same again and in fact that couldn\u2019t have been truer,\u201d she said of her return.<\/p>\n \u201cSince the beginning Warner Records has been a real partner with me,\u201d Madonna continued. \u201cI am happy to be reunited and look forward to the future, making music, doing the unexpected while perhaps provoking a few needed conversations.\u201d<\/p>\n Announcing the news, Madonna took to Instagram to share a series of photos of her, some notably featuring a typewriter. \u201cAlmost two decades later \u2013 And it Feels like home with Warner Records!\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n \u201cBack to music, Back to the Dance Floor, Back to where it all began! COADF- P. 2 \ud83e\udea9 2026\u201d<\/p>\n The reference is to her 2005 LP \u2018Confessions on a Dancefloor\u2019, which she\u2019ll be following up as her first project under her new contract.<\/p>\n Madonna first teased a part two to the seminal dance album back in February<\/a>, telling followers: \u201cMy Valentine\u2019s Day gift to all my fans is to let you know I\u2019m putting my heart and soul into my new music and I can\u2019t wait to share it with you!! \ud83e\udd0d. Confessions Part 2.\u201d<\/p>\n The new album will see her reunite with the producer of the original \u2018Confessions on a Dancefloor\u2019, Stuart Price, whom she already\u00a0revealed she had been working with back in December<\/a>.<\/p>\n She\u2019s been working with the hit producer for over two decades now, with him most widely recognised for his contributions to the hit 2005 album. Since then, he has gone on to work with her on three of her tours, and recently reconnected with her last year as part of her acclaimed \u2018Celebration\u2019 shows<\/a>.<\/p>\n Tom Carson and Aaron Bay-Schuck, co-chairmen of Warner Records, said that they\u2019re \u201chonoured\u201d to welcome Madonna \u201cback home\u201d to the label. \u201cThis signing represents a historic, full-circle moment, one that brings her back to the label where it all began and reaffirms her unparalleled influence, setting the stage for an exciting new era of creativity and impact,\u201d they said.<\/p>\n It will mark her first LP since 2019\u2019s \u2018Madame X<\/a>\u2018, which was her 14th studio record.<\/p>\n NME<\/em> spoke to Madonna around the release of \u2018Madame X\u2019<\/a>, and she discussed the experience of being extremely famous. \u201cIt has its pluses and minuses,\u201d she told us. \u201cThe great thing about being famous is that you have a voice and you can spread messages and fight for people who don\u2019t have the ability to fight for themselves, and share your wealth with people who need help.\u201d<\/p>\n Since then, she\u2019s completed a huge world tour, celebrating the hits from throughout her career. The UK dates of her 2023 \u2018Celebration\u2019 tour featured multiple sold-out stops at The O2 in London \u2013 which were given a five-star review by\u00a0NME<\/em><\/a>.
