Jimmy Fallon<\/strong><\/a> will no longer be making a scheduled appearance on Thursday, September 18, amid the fallout from fellow late-night host Jimmy Kimmel<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s show being suspended indefinitely.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately, Jimmy Fallon is no longer able to attend today\u2019s session,\u201d the Fast Company Innovation Festival said in a statement on Thursday, per Deadline<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fallon, 50, and Bozoma St. John<\/strong> were scheduled to talk about his new NBC series On Brand<\/em>. Representatives for the festival told a Deadline<\/em> reporter that there would be no further comment on the situation.<\/p>\n

Fallon\u2019s exit from the event comes just one day after news broke that Kimmel would be taken off air<\/a> after his comments about Charlie Kirk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Variety previously reported on Wednesday that Disney\u2019s ABC decided to remove the late [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cJimmy Kimmel Live will be pre-empted indefinitely,\u201d an ABC spokesperson confirmed to Us Weekly on Wednesday, September 17. (A rerun of Celebrity Family Feud<\/em> aired in place<\/a> of the late night show on Wednesday.)<\/p>\n

Nestar Media, which owns multiple TV stations, reportedly threatened to take Jimmy Kimmel Live! from the lineup. The company told Variety<\/em> in a statement on Wednesday that they \u201cstrongly\u201d objected to \u201crecent comments made by Mr. Kimmel concerning the killing of Charlie Kirk.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us<\/em> reached out to Kimmel for comment.<\/p>\n

Days earlier, Kimmel, 57, made comments about Kirk \u2014 a conservative political activist who was shot and killed at a Utah Valley University event on September 10 \u2014 and his accused killer, Tyler Robinson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Kimmel, 57, shared his thoughts via X as news broke of the incident at Utah Valley University on September 10, writing, \u201cInstead of the angry finger-pointing, can we just for one day agree that it [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
