Julia Roberts<\/a> confirmed that she\u2019s been in discussions about possibly starring in a sequel to \u201cMy Best Friend\u2019s Wedding<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re talking to me,\u201d Roberts<\/a> said in Variety\u2018s cover story on \u201cAfter the Hunt<\/a>,\u201d the Luca Guadagnino<\/a>-directed psychological thriller starring Roberts, Andrew Garfield<\/a>, Ayo Edebiri<\/a> and Chlo\u00eb Sevigny<\/a>. During the interview, Guadagnino chimed in that he would direct Roberts in a \u201cMy Best Friend\u2019s Wedding<\/a>\u201d sequel \u201cin a second.\u201d<\/p>\n

News broke in July that a \u201cMy Best Friend\u2019s Wedding<\/a>\u201d sequel was in early development, with \u201cPast Lives<\/a>\u201d and \u201cMaterialists<\/a>\u201d filmmaker Celine Song<\/a> attached to pen a screenplay for the project \u2014 though she was not in talks to direct.
