The new song was written by the Scottish solo star alongside Connor and Riley McDonough, and takes on themes of loss and discovering the glimmer of hope that remains.<\/p>\n

Capaldi dropped a teaser for the new track two weeks ago, sharing a video of him in the studio playing a snippet of the audio.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut \u2019til the day I die, I will dream of you\/ In a million lives, you\u2019re the one I choose<\/em>,\u201d he sings as the song builds up to the chorus: \u201cI\u2019ll love you \u2019til my last breath\/ You\u2019re gone but something in the heavens tells me that we\u2019ll together again<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n
