Swedish metal powerhouse The Halo Effect<\/a><\/strong> have dropped their latest single, a ferocious reinterpretation of W.A.S.P.<\/strong>‘s 1984 anthem “I Wanna Be Somebody”. The blistering track, handpicked by guitarist Jesper Str\u00f6mblad<\/strong>, marks the band’s third cover and continues their exploration of the iconic sounds that shaped their roots.<\/p>\n Alongside the single, The Halo Effect<\/strong> have announced their brand-new EP, We Are Shadows<\/em>, which arrives November 21 digitally and as a limited vinyl release<\/a>.
