In the wake of right-wing personality Charlie Kirk\u2019s assassination, the media landscape has seen reactions on both sides of the spectrum. Jimmy Kimmel\u2019s recent indefinite suspension<\/a> from ABC\u2019s late-night lineup is only the latest example, thanks to disapproval from select affiliate markets and the FCC.<\/p>\n

But before all of that kicked off, an episode of South Park<\/em> that effectively parodied Kirk\u2019s persona was removed from Comedy Central\u2019s rerun schedule. That move has now been met with disapproval from none other than The Charlie Kirk Show <\/em>executive producer Andrew Kolvet.<\/p>\n

Earlier today, he took to X to share his thoughts.<\/p>\n

“Hey @paramountplus, as someone who can speak with some authority on this, Charlie loved that he was featured in South Park,” Kolvet wrote<\/a>. “He told me many times. He would want the episode back up.”<\/p>\n

Kirk, who was gunned down on September 10th during a rally at Utah Valley University, actually enjoyed the episode \u201cGot A Nut.\u201d Airing on August 6th, the second episode of Season 27 saw characters Clyde and Cartman lampooning the debate format that Charlie Kirk regularly engaged in.<\/p>\n
