Another late night talk show host has lost his job, Jimmy Kimmel<\/strong><\/span>. On September 17, Jimmy Kimmel Live! was pulled off the air<\/a> \u201cindefinitely\u201d (aka canceled) following the host\u2019s comments on the death of Charlie Kirk. A fixture on ABC for over two decades, Jimmy and his sarcastic humor will be missed.<\/p>\n Actor Marlon Wayans<\/span><\/strong> has something to say about that.<\/p>\n At the premiere of his new thriller Him, Marlon spoke with Access Hollywood<\/a>, reacting to the news of Jimmy\u2019s cancelation. \u201cThis is America,\u201d he said. \u201cWhat we\u2019re seeing is not something that we \u2013 me, myself as a black man has seen before \u2026 I just think it\u2019s a shame, and I think every last single American loses because of this.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBut \u2026 it\u2019s not an ending [for] guys and artists and voices like Jimmy Kimmel,\u201d he added. \u201cWe have to be courageous, and it\u2019s a new beginning<\/a>. You can\u2019t stop the dunk. You just made me create a new lane. That\u2019s all.\u201d<\/p>\n Turning the conversation to Marlon\u2019s new movie, the host switched gears. \u201cI love seeing you play the horror space,\u201d he said. \u201cI look at you as being comedic, but you are a well-rounded, talented actor \u2026 Did you give [costar Tyriq Withers<\/span>] any kind of advice for fame coming up, because you\u2019ve been in this industry for a minute?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI gave his little, stupid ass some advice,\u201d Marlon joked. \u201cHe\u2019s talking about what kind of car he wants to buy. I said, \u2018Man, you better stay in that little raggedy car you got till you get some real money<\/a>.\u2019 [He\u2019s] like, \u2018I want five cars.\u2019 Why? You got one ass.’\u201d<\/p>\n Going back to the movie he\u2019s promoting, Marlon spoke of his love of unusual characters. \u201cI always love dark characters with a sense of humor,\u201d he said. \u201cI grew up on Freddy Krueger \u2026 I\u2019d love to reboot Freddy.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, in his new film Marlon plays a football player.
