Country musician Spencer Hatcher has spoken out six weeks after his mother was killed in her home.<\/p>\n
The singer recently posted a video<\/a> on Youtube thanking fans for their support during what he described as \u201cthe worst time of our life\u201d for him and his family.<\/p>\n \u201cYou all sent so many loving comments and messages and made posts and everything and we did our best to read them,\u201c he said in the video. \u201dBut I just want you all to know how appreciative we are and I am of you all.”<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Hatcher\u2019s mother, Holly, 62, was killed by an armed intruder at her home in Virginia. She was at home with her husband, Michael, 65, when she was fatally stabbed, according to American Songwriter<\/a>.<\/p>\n The musician went on to announce his return to making music and touring, after previously canceling<\/a> his August tour dates.<\/p>\n Hatcher said that the reason he wanted to resume his music career was to honor his mother, who he said would have wanted him to keep going.<\/p>\n \u201cMy mom was my biggest fan and my biggest supporter in everything that I did,\u201d he said. \u201cShe loved the music, everything about it.
