Seth Meyers<\/a> reacted to ABC\u2019s decision to indefinitely suspend Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/a> during the latest episode of his late-night talk series, where he stressed the importance of free speech and also showed support for Jimmy Kimmel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Appearing on Late Night<\/a> with Seth Meyers on Thursday night, the first episode taped after news of the suspension broke, Meyers kicked off his \u201cCloser<\/a> Look\u201d segment by joking that he\u2019s \u201calways admired and respected Mr. Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you\u2019ve ever seen me say anything negative about him, that\u2019s just AI,\u201d he continued. \u201cI\u2019m told there\u2019s some clips of me on the internet making jokes about it from a few years back. Those are obviously deep fakes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later in the episode, a series of clips of President Donald Trump<\/a> vowing to maintain free speech in the United States were shown. When discussing the topic, Meyers shouted out Kimmel.<\/p>\n
