The Rumours<\/em> are true: Miley Cyrus has officially released \u201cSecrets,\u201d her new single featuring Mick Fleetwood and Lindsey Buckingham.<\/p>\n The collaboration appears on the deluxe edition of Something Beautiful<\/em>, out today. \u201cSecrets\/I want to keep your secrets,\u201d Cyrus sings, across the legendary rhythm section. \u201cLike sunlight in the shadow\/Like footsteps in the grass.\u201d<\/p>\n More from Rolling Stone<\/strong><\/p>\n News of the collaboration first surfaced in late Aug., when Billy Ray Cyrus posted a snippet of the track on Instagram<\/a>, revealing his daughter penned it for him. \u201cFor my birthday, Miley gave me the gift of music and wrote me a song called \u2018Secrets\u2019 and got my favorite musicians Fleetwood Mac to play on it!\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n This isn\u2019t the first time Cyrus has dabbled in the world of Fleetwood Mac. Back in 2020, she released \u201cEdge of Midnight (Midnight Sky Remix),\u201d<\/a> which mashed up her hit \u201cMidnight Sky\u201d with Stevie Nicks\u2019 1982 classic \u201cEdge of Seventeen.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSecrets\u201d is one of the two additional tracks on the Something Beautiful <\/em>deluxe, alongside \u201cLockdown\u201d with David Byrne. Cyrus released the standard edition of Something Beautiful<\/a><\/em> in late May; Rolling Stone<\/em> included it on their list of the Best Albums of 2025 So Far<\/a>. The album \u2014 Cyrus\u2019 ninth LP to date \u2014 featured Brittany Howard and Naomi Campbell. \u201cAll 13 songs have a special place in my heart,\u201d Cyrus said<\/a> at the time.<\/p>\n Though she still has no desire<\/a> to tour, the singer recently revealed she\u2019s planning something \u201creally special\u201d for the 20th anniversary of Hannah Montana, which occurs in March 2026. \u201cWithout Hannah, there really wouldn\u2019t be this kind of \u2026 this me,\u201d she told SiriusXM\u2019s TikTok Radio<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s so crazy to think, too, that I started as a character that I thought was going to be impossible to shed,\u201d she added. \u201cAnd now that\u2019s something that when I walk into a space, it\u2019s looked at as this sense of nostalgia or something that you have from your childhood, but I\u2019ve now been as kind of integrated into everyone\u2019s life as the character itself.
