It’s no secret that Prince Andrew<\/a> is somewhat of a royal pariah these days, following his disastrous Newsnight<\/em> interview<\/a> and ill-fated friendship with convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein<\/a> \u2013 and it seems as though he was attempting to regain some favour this week at the Duchess of Kent’s funeral.<\/p>\n

At the event, which was widely covered by cameras, Andrew (who is rarely seen at royal occasions these days) took the opportunity to try and coax Prince William<\/a> into a conversation. But, according to one lip reader, the whole exchange was pretty frosty and the future King was far from feeling it.<\/p>\n

In fact, it was later claimed that he felt “ambushed” by the whole experience.<\/p>\n
