Cardi B<\/a>, now just one day away from rolling out her long-awaited sophomore album<\/a>, says in a new interview that she believes Offset<\/a> \u201chas some type of hate in his heart\u201d following their split.<\/p>\n In the second part<\/a> of her Am I the Drama?-centered conversation with Gayle King for CBS Mornings, Cardi let it be know that she\u2019s \u201cso tired\u201d of being associated with someone from her past.<\/p>\n \u201cI filed for divorce a year ago,\u201d she pointed out. \u201cThat should be very clear. I don\u2019t deal with that, I don\u2019t mess with that, I don\u2019t have no contact with that.\u201d<\/p>\n News of the divorce, which is not believed to have yet been finalized, first broke<\/a> last summer. In her interview with CBS Mornings, the lyrics to a song off her new album, titled \u201cMan of Your Word,\u201d were highlighted by Gayle, leading to additional candor from Cardi about the relationship.<\/p>\n COMPLEX SHOP:<\/b> Shop the brands you love, anytime and anywhere. Obsess.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI just wish he was a better person, but it is what it is,\u201d Cardi said. \u201cBe a better person for your kids.\u201d<\/p>\n Asked about the possibility of co-parenting, Cardi expressed a desire for that in the future, though she also suggested that isn\u2019t currently possible. The former couple share three kids together.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t really have hate in my heart anymore,\u201d she said. \u201cI think he has some type of hate in his heart right now. \u2026 I don\u2019t know how long that\u2019s gonna take for him but that\u2019s always been my wish. I get along with everybody that I dated. If we all move on, there shouldn\u2019t be no animosity. Your life, my life. Separate. We should be able to raise kids. We should be able to ask each other questions. We should be able to be like, \u2018Hey, look what one of the kids just did,\u2019 \u2018Look at this,\u2019 \u2018Look at the report card.\u2019 We should be able to celebrate but it\u2019s not about the kids. One thing I\u2019m learning is it\u2019s not about the kids.\u201d<\/p>\n These days, Cardi is in a relationship with Stefon Diggs<\/a>. In fact, Cardi announced<\/a> during the first part of her Gayle conversation that she and Stefon were expecting a child together<\/a>.<\/p>\n Following the Am I the Drama? release this Friday, fans can look forward to Cardi heading out on an arena tour starting in February of next year.
