Charlie Kirk\u2019s<\/strong> producer and friend is pushing Paramount to return a South Park<\/em> episode satirizing the MAGA star to reruns, saying Kirk \u201cloved\u201d being featured on the show.<\/p>\n Andrew Kolvet<\/strong>, the producer<\/a> of Kirk\u2019s show, took to X this week to make clear that Kirk would not approve of burying the South Park<\/em><\/a> episode mocking his debates at Turning Point USA events. The 31-year-old conservative activist was shot<\/a> and killed last week during an event at a Utah college campus.<\/p>\n \u201cHey [Paramount], as someone who can speak with some authority on this, Charlie loved that he was featured in South Park<\/em>. He told me many times. He would want the episode back up,\u201d Kolvet wrote on X.<\/p>\n Comedy Central, which is owned by Paramount, pulled<\/a> a rerun of the season 27 episode Got a Nut<\/em> and replaced it with a different episode following Kirk\u2019s murder. The episode features character Eric Cartman<\/strong> imitating Kirk and launching a podcast modeled after Kirk\u2019s, where he directly debates people. The episode ends with Cartman attending the \u201cCharlie Kirk Award for Young Master Debaters.\u201d<\/p>\n The rerun was pulled, but the episode remains available on streaming. Some MAGA followers blasted<\/a> the show following Kirk\u2019s murder. The South Park<\/em> episode first aired in August, just a few weeks before Kirk\u2019s assassination.<\/p>\n As Kolvet said, Kirk made it no secret that he liked being featured on South Park, a show that has earned some pushback<\/a> from conservatives and even the White House<\/a> over brutal depictions of President Donald Trump<\/strong> (currently in a relationship<\/a> with Satan on the show) and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem<\/strong> (depicted as a bloodthirsty serial killer<\/a> of puppies).<\/p>\n In a Fox News interview, Kirk called South Park satirizing him a \u201cbadge of honor\u201d and he even posted clips from the show to social media.<\/p>\n \u201cWe as conservatives should be able to take a joke, we shouldn\u2019t take ourselves so seriously \u2013 that\u2019s something that the left has always done,\u201d Kirk told Fox about the episode, adding, \u201cI think it\u2019s kind of funny and it kind of goes to show the cultural impact and the resonance that our movement has been able to achieve.
