Grammy award-winning producer Sydney Brown, known by his stage name Omen, was found dead in his Harlem apartment on Saturday, according to USA Today<\/a>.<\/p>\n The 49-year-old producer had missed a scheduled performance at Barawine, a local bar, prompting his relatives to check in on him.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was holistic and healthy. Throughout his production career, he has worked with artists such as Drake, Lil Wayne and Beyonce.<\/p>\n The producer worked with Drake on the songs \u201cShut It Down\u201d and \u201cMine.\u201d<\/p>\n Brown also produced the track \u201cTell It Like It Is\u201d for Ludacris\u2019 album \u201cRelease Therapy.\u201d The album went on to win a Grammy for Best Rap Album<\/a>.<\/p>\n Read the original article on MassLive<\/a>.
