Nearly double the length of Invasion<\/em> at 23 tracks and 71 minutes, Drama<\/em> contains a variety of new guests, subjects and sounds for the rap great, including the merengue exercise \u201cBodega Baddie,\u201d the 4 Non Blondes-interpolating \u201cWhat\u2019s Going On\u201d (with Lizzo) and the drill-influenced \u201cSafe\u201d (with Kehlani). It\u2019s an overstuffed but thrilling listen, reminding us why we\u2019d been waiting so breathlessly for the return of Full Cardi for so long in the first place.<\/p>\n \n\tMiley Cyrus, \u201cSecrets\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n \n\tNever a bad idea to get two members of one of the most beloved rock bands of all time on your new song \u2014 but Lindsay Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood are particularly good fits on \u201cSecrets,\u201d one of two new tracks from the deluxe reissue of Miley Cyrus<\/a>\u2018 underappreciated Something Beautiful<\/em> album. (The other, \u201cLockdown,\u201d also features a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer in Talking Heads\u2019 David Byrne.) The guitarist and drummer help lend a sweetly breezy \u201980s Fleetwood Mac-style groove to Cyrus\u2019 promises of \u201cAnywhere you go\/ I\u2019ll follow\u201d \u2014\u00a0making it a worthy follow-up to her Stevie Nicks-featuring \u201cEdge of Midnight\u201d remix of \u201cMidnight Sky.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tLola Young, I\u2019m Only F\u2013king Myself<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \n\tU.K. singer-songwriter Lola Young<\/a>\u2018s first new LP since scoring a global smash with \u201cMessy\u201d shows why she\u2019s gotten fans on both sides of the Atlantic so excited far beyond the one hit. From the grungy bisexual anthem \u201cF**k Everyone\u201d to the fuzzy failing-relationship power ballad \u201cSpiders\u201d to the shuffling post-breakup waltz of \u201cSad Sob Story! :)\u201d the album is bursting with hooks, personality and vivid songwriting, confirming Young as one of both pop and rock\u2019s most impressive breakout talents of the mid-\u201920s.<\/p>\n \n\tRAYE, \u201cWHERE IS MY HUSBAND!\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n \n\tWith blaring horns and jazzy drums worthy of mid-\u201900s Rich Harrison, RAYE<\/a> conducts her frantic search for her future husband, wondering with increasingly manic verses what could possibly be taking him so d\u2013n long to get her. As the song winds up tighter and tighter \u2014 with her grandmother\u2019s sampled promise of \u201cYour husband is coming\u201d detonating the song\u2019s ultimate climax \u2014 it really earns the all-caps stylization of its title, as well as the exclamation mark where a question mark would normally be. <\/p>\n \n\tNine Inch Nails, TRON: Ares (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \n\tA year after releasing one of their most celebrated scores to date with the pulsing electro-house of the Challengers <\/em>soundtrack, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are back \u2014 this time under the Nine Inch Nails<\/a> moniker, and with recent DJ tourmate Boys Noize in tow \u2014 to take on the TRON: Ares<\/em> soundtrack.
