Taylor Swift is releasing the music video for her single from the upcoming album “The Life of a Showgirl”<\/a> in movie theaters across the globe.<\/p>\n Swift announced showings of \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia\u201d music video premiere in a post on X<\/a> on Friday, Sept. 19. The pop singer has dubbed the theatrical event, set for Oct. 3 through Oct. 5, “The Official Release Party of a Showgirl.” <\/p>\n “I hereby invite you to a *dazzling* soir\u00e9e, The Official Release Party of a Showgirl: Oct 3 \u2014 Oct 5 only in cinemas!” she said on social media. “You\u2019ll get to see the exclusive world premiere of the music video for my new single \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia\u201d, along with never before seen behind-the-scenes footage of how we made it, cut by cut explanations of what inspired this music, and the brand new lyric videos from my new album The Life of a Showgirl.”<\/p>\n The show’s runtime will clock in at 89 minutes, according to a release from AMC Theatres.<\/p>\n Tickets are on sale now, and fans can check their local showtimes here<\/a>.<\/p>\n “Looks like it\u2019s time to brush off that Eras Tour outfit or orange cardigan\u2026 Tickets are on sale now,” Swift said. “Dancing is optional but very much encouraged.”<\/p>\n The news comes one day after Taylor Nation, the official social media account for the singer’s team, shared footage of Swift<\/a> appearing to direct something, while wearing an orange cardigan.<\/p>\n
