But, Swift just revealed that there will be even more pomp and circumstance marking the start of her new “era.” On Instagram, Swift invited followers to what she called “a *dazzling* soir\u00e9e,” called “The Official Release Party of a Showgirl.”<\/p>\n The caption reads: “I hereby invite you to a *dazzling* soir\u00e9e, The Official Release Party of a Showgirl: Oct 3 – Oct 5 only in cinemas! You\u2019ll get to see the exclusive world premiere of the music video for my new single ‘The Fate of Ophelia’, along with never before seen behind-the-scenes footage of how we made it, cut by cut explanations of what inspired this music, and the brand new lyric videos from my new album The Life of a Showgirl \u2764\ufe0f\ud83d\udd25”<\/p>\n This sort of party will be more like a movie screening, though it won’t be a traditional film. Variety reports that the program has an 89-minute run time. “The Official Release Party of a Showgirl” will run in theaters the Friday through Sunday of Swift’s album release weekend.<\/p>\n Attendees can expect a similar environment to that of Swift’s last big screen debut, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” her movie version of her record-breaking tour.
