Grammy-winning pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter, known for her hit “Espresso,” is set to make her Grand Ole Opry debut on Oct. 7.<\/p>\n
The performer, who frequently writes with Nashville-based songwriters like Amy Allen<\/a> and Steph Jones<\/a>, paired with Country Music Hall of Famer Dolly Parton for a version of her hit “Please Please Please”<\/a> in February.<\/p>\n More: <\/strong>Get tickets: Sabrina Carpenter’s Opry debut<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n Tickets for Carpenter’s appearance in the legendary on-stage circle on Opryland Drive will occur on a night that includes Texas-born Nashville rising star Laci Kaye Booth<\/a> also appearing on the lineup.<\/p>\n Tickets are available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n Regarding their collaboration, Parton said she had the following conditions for Carpenter to meet before getting into the recording booth:<\/p>\n “I told her, I said, now, I don’t cuss. I don’t make fun of Jesus. I don’t talk bad about God, and I don’t say dirty words, on camera, but known to if I get mad enough,” Parton told the Knoxville News Sentinel<\/a>.<\/p>\n Carpenter complied with the country icon’s wishes.<\/p>\n “She was so sweet,” Parton said.<\/p>\n During an Oct. 2024 tour stop at Bridgestone Arena, Carpenter performed a cover of Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5” as a surprise for fans in attendance.
