In response, the singer has canceled two upcoming shows.<\/p>\n As reported in the Ottawa Citizen<\/a>, a man named Noah Castellano posted the alleged threat to Bluesky on September 4th. Under the account name \u201cguy who gets shot in the head one hundred thousand times a day,\u201d he wrote<\/a>:\u00a0\u201cSteven Patrick Morrissey when you perform at TD Place here in Ottawa next week on the evening of September 12th, 2025 at about 9pm, I will be present at the venue in the audience and I will attempt to shoot you many times and kill you with a very large gun that I own illegally.\u201d<\/p>\n Get Morrissey Tickets Here<\/a><\/p>\n Morrissey\u2019s CityFolk performance went on as scheduled, though the festival organizers declined to comment on the incident. Castellano, who has been released on $5,000 bail, also declined\u00a0to comment when reached by the Ottawa Citizen<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m not interested,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Although Morrissey played his concert at New York\u2019s Radio City Music Hall earlier this week, he has now canceled upcoming shows at Connecticut\u2019s Foxwoods Resort Casino<\/a> and MGM Music Hall in Boston<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cDue to recent events and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of both the artist and band, the upcoming shows this weekend at Foxwoods and MGM Music Hall have been cancelled,\u201d reads a statement posted to Instagram<\/a>. \u201cAll tickets will be refunded automatically at your original point of purchase.\u00a0We appreciate your understanding.\u201d<\/p>\n Popular Posts<\/p>\n
