A tearful Kim Kardashia<\/strong>n begs Kanye West<\/strong> to stop \u201cburning bridges\u201d in the entertainment and fashion industries in the new documentary, In Whose Name?, which was released on Friday, September 19.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t care about the music business. I don\u2019t care about the work field. I\u2019m in a slave business. I\u2019m a slave to Universal,\u201d West tells his then-wife during a phone call that took place after West was dropped by his talent agent over his antisemitic rants in 2018, per People<\/a>.<\/p>\n The reality star, now 44, argues that having a job like hers \u201cdoesn\u2019t make you a slave,\u201d the outlet reports.<\/p>\n But the rapper, now 48, claps back, \u201cE! is a slave ship for you,\u201d referencing the network behind her family\u2019s long-running reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians.<\/p>\n Lumeimages \/ MEGA<\/span><\/p>\n Kardashian, who says she \u201ccan\u2019t sleep\u201d and has been \u201ccrying all day,\u201d replies that the companies she worked for \u201cprovided a life for me that I never would have been able to provide, and I\u2019m very grateful for that.\u201d<\/p>\n The SKIMS founder tells West that he is \u201coffending a lot of people\u201dand \u201cyou\u2019re gonna wake up one day and you\u2019re gonna have, like, nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n The conversation ends with West angrily warning the mother of his four children to \u201cnever put that into the universe.\u201d<\/p>\n As Globe previously reported<\/a>, the documentary also features an explosive confrontation in which West, who reveals he has stopped taking his bipolar medication, rages<\/a> at his then-mother-in-law, Kris Jenner<\/strong>, blaming the family for his mental health issues.<\/p>\n West and Kardashian split after more than six years of marriage<\/a> in 2021.
