\n\tLaunched in 2017 as a joint venture between CJ ENM and Vietnam\u2019s HKFilm, CJ HK Entertainment has produced major Vietnamese hits such as Tran Thanh\u2019s family dramas Mai <\/em>and The House Of No Man<\/em>, which both grossed around $20M.<\/p>\n\n\tThe company also distributes Vietnamese, Korean and other international films in the Vietnam market, produced both by CJ group companies and other international producers. It recently enjoyed a hit with Vietnamese family drama Leaving Mom<\/em>, which has grossed $6M since its August release. <\/p>\n\n\tCJ also co-distributes films acquired by Vietnam\u2019s Mockingbird Pictures including U.S. indie studio Neon\u2019s Together<\/em> and Indonesian horror films Pabrik Gula<\/em> and Perewanan<\/em>. Korean hits have included Hitman 2 <\/em>and Yadang: The Snitch<\/em>, which are the number one and two Korean films in Vietnam so far this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\tUpcoming releases to be co-distributed with Mockingbird include Japanese studio Toho\u2019s Exit 8<\/em> on September 26, and Death Whisperer 3<\/em>, produced by Thailand\u2019s M Studio, on October 10.<\/p>\n\n\tOn the original production front, CJ HK Entertainment is lining up four to five Vietnamese productions for release in 2026.
