The offices of Kxtv<\/a> (ABC10) in Sacramento were struck by gunfire Friday afternoon, Sacramento police Officer Anthony Gamble<\/a> told Deadline. No one was injured.<\/p>\n

The day before, the building of Kxtv, an ABC affiliate station owned by Tegna<\/a>, was the sight of a protest over the network\u2019s suspension of Jimmy Kimmel Live.<\/p>\n

Officers responded to reports of shots fired at the TV station shortly after 1:30 pm Friday. At least three gunshots were fired into a window of the building, which was occupied at the time, but fortunately no one was injured, Gamble said.<\/p>\n

Detectives are at the scene and investigating whether the shooting was random or targeted. There is no suspect information at this time.<\/p>\n

The demonstration outside the building Thursday was part of widespread protests over ABC\u2019s suspension of Kimmel following his comments about Charlie Kirk<\/a>, including one held outside Disney studios in Burbank and another…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
