<\/ul>\nBob the Drag Queen<\/a> is taking center stage on Broadway.<\/p>\nThe comedian, actor, podcast host and New York Times best-selling author will make his Broadway debut next year as master of ceremonies Harold Zidler in the Tony Award-winning Moulin Rouge! The Musical, PEOPLE can exclusively reveal.<\/p>\n
“Being on Broadway has always been a dream of mine,” Bob (known as Caldwell Tidicue out of drag) says in a statement. “I moved to NYC almost 17 years ago to pursue it. Some roads take a while.”<\/p>\n
Fans can catch Bob in the role beginning Jan. 27, 2026, for an eight-week limited engagement at Broadway\u2019s Al Hirschfeld Theatre in New York City. His run will continue through March 22, 2026.<\/p>\n

Best known to fans as the season 8 winner of RuPaul\u2019s Drag Race, Bob has built a career spanning TV, comedy, music and literature.<\/p>\n
He was a breakout in season 3 of The Traitors and helped lead HBO\u2019s Emmy-nominated series We\u2019re Here (which has earned a Peabody, a GLAAD Media Award and Television Academy Honors), He’s also the co-host of the award-winning podcast Sibling Rivalry with fellow drag star (and newly engaged) Mon\u00e9t X Change<\/a>.<\/p>\nOnstage, Bob tours internationally as a stand-up comic also recently served as emcee for Madonna\u2019s Celebration Tour. Based on\u00a0Baz Luhrmann<\/a>‘s\u00a02001 movie of the same name<\/a>,\u00a0Moulin Rouge! The Musical\u00a0follows an American man in Paris at the turn of the 20th century, Christian, who falls in love with a performer at the titular cabaret club named Satine. The original movie starred\u00a0Ewan McGregor<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Nicole Kidman<\/a>\u00a0in the lead roles.<\/p>\nThe musical has been playing at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre since 2019; it reopened in the same location in 2021 after a prolonged shutdown due to the\u00a0COVID-19<\/a>\u00a0pandemic.<\/p>\nLike the film, Moulin Rouge! The Musical\u00a0features a mashup of popular hits, spanning over 160 years of music \u2014 from Offenbach to Lady Gaga. Many of the iconic songs from the movie and also included.<\/p>\n
