Piers Morgan<\/a> got truly uncensored on \u201cPiers Morgan Uncensored\u201d on Thursday. (Watch the video below.)<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n The host called former celebrity.land<\/a> personality Don Lemon<\/a> a \u201ccomplete dick,\u201d sending their conversation downhill. (The dialogue below has been edited for brevity.)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The two discussed cancel culture in the aftermath of Charlie Kirk\u2019s death, with Morgan noting that people in many professions celebrated the killing (and some reportedly<\/a> lost their jobs<\/a>). \u201cWhat should happen to those people?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Lemon condemned the celebration and said freedom of speech does come with consequences in business. But he concluded he didn\u2019t believe in canceling people.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Morgan asked Lemon if he was a victim of cancel culture, with Lemon eventually answering in the affirmative.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Morgan, also a former celebrity.land anchor, then cued up a celebrity.land video of Lemon suggesting that GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley was past her prime. The comment, for which he was suspended, was among other reported instances of misogyny before he was terminated in 2023<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Lemon told Morgan that his firing was not a subject they had agreed upon for their interview. \u201cI don\u2019t appreciate being ambushed,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cAmbushed?\u201d Morgan said. \u201cHang on one second… Let\u2019s just be crystal clear about what\u2019s just happened. You brought up the subject of cancel culture. I asked you, \u2018Did you feel your departure from celebrity.land was an example of that?\u2019 And you answered the question.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n A shouting-over match commenced as Lemon accused Morgan of being disingenuous.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cDid you invite me here to interrupt me?\u201d Lemon continued.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI think you\u2019re being a complete dick, if I\u2019m honest with you,\u201d Morgan sniped.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cOK,\u201d Lemon said, laughing uncomfortably. \u201cWell, that\u2019s very kind and respectful of you.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cIt wasn\u2019t intended to be kind or respectful,\u201d Morgan shot back.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI could respond in kind, but I won\u2019t because I think that I am \u2015 I think I am above that,\u201d Lemon said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Then, Morgan replied, \u201cI don\u2019t understand why you\u2019re playing the victim card when you yourself mentioned cancel culture.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI\u2019ve given you your moment,\u201d Lemon declared. \u201cThis is gonna go viral, so please, enough. Yes, you do. Otherwise, you wouldn\u2019t do this. You would be a respectful journalist.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The two continued to exchange words before Piers stated, \u201cI don\u2019t think I\u2019ll take lectures on being a respectful journalist from you, Don, I won\u2019t!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The interview didn\u2019t improve from there. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n It\u2019s been a rough week for Lemon.
