Cardi B<\/a>\u2019s boyfriend and future baby father,\u00a0Stefon Diggs<\/a>, is at the center of a new paternity dispute.<\/p>\n A day after the couple’s pregnancy announcement<\/a>, news broke that Diggs was facing a legal battle with\u00a0Aileen Lopera \u2014 a West Coast model known as Lord Gisselle.<\/p>\n According to legal documents reviewed by Complex<\/em>, Lopera filed a November 2024 petition to establish the paternity of her then-unborn child. The petitioner identified Diggs as the father and requested that the NFL athlete cover all her pregnancy\/birth expenses as well as her attorney\u2019s fees. Lopera also requested sole legal and physical custody of her daughter, but would give Diggs visitation<\/p>\n Diggs \u2014 who has an 8-year-old daughter, Nova, from a previous relationship \u2014 filed a response in mid-July, about three months after Lopera gave birth to the baby in question. If Diggs\u2019 paternity\u00a0is established, he wants\u00a0joint custody of the child. He\u2019s also seeking “joint payment of reasonable expenses of pregnancy and birth and attorney\u2019s fees and costs.”<\/p>\n It\u2019s unclear at time of press if the parties have completed the genetic tests.<\/p>\n Lopera\u2019s attorney did not immediately respond to Complex<\/em>\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n Diggs is gearing up to welcome his first child with Cardi B.
