Robert Irwin<\/strong> revealed what his sister, Bindi Irwin<\/strong>, told him after he made his Dancing With the Stars<\/em> debut during season 34 on Tuesday, September 16.<\/p>\n “I can\u2019t help but get emotional when I talk about my family, I just \u2014 they are everything to me,” Robert, 21, told Extra<\/a><\/em> in an interview published on Wednesday, September 17.<\/p>\n Robert added that he spoke to Bindi, 27,<\/a> following his performance, and he revealed the sweet message she shared with him. “I love you and I\u2019m really proud of you,” he recalled her telling him during their conversation, which he said “just means everything<\/a>” to him.<\/p>\n “This process is the most incredible whirlwind adrenaline rush \u2014 it’s the most beautiful thing and the most incredible thing I’ve ever gotten to be part of, and to have them there is everything to me,” he continued of his family’s support. “I’m so lucky.”<\/p>\n Parade Daily\ud83c\udfac\u00a0<\/strong>SIGN UP for Parade\u2019s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\ud83c\udfac<\/strong><\/p>\n In addition to Bindi, their mom, Terri Irwin<\/strong>, Bindi’s husband, Chandler Powell<\/strong>, and their daughter, Grace, all attended the taping of Robert’s first episode.<\/p>\n Robert also shared that it “made the night” for him to see “the look on my niece’s face” when he was onstage. “She looked at me and she was like, \u2018Yes!\u2019 And I\u2019m like, \u2018If Grace is happy, I\u2019ve won,'” he said.<\/p>\n Bindi previously competed on the show during season 21, which she went on to win alongside partner Derek Hough<\/strong>. Prior to his debut on season 34, Robert revealed the advice<\/a> he got from his older sister.<\/p>\n \u201cThe advice she\u2019s given me that I\u2019ve really tried to cling to is just make it your own and just enjoy [it] because it’s so fleeting,\u201d he told People<\/a><\/em> in an interview published in September. “It goes by so fast. She was there the whole way.
