Brown <\/strong>and Daniel Kountz<\/strong> are trading in Halloweentown for Evergreen Lane.<\/p>\n If you used to be a Disney Channel fan who is now a huge Hallmark Channel fan, you’re in for quite a treat this fall season.<\/p>\n \ud83c\udfac<\/strong>\u00a0SIGN UP for Parade\u2019s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\ud83c\udfac\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The powers that be are allowing two fan-favorite movies to come together with the release of Haul Out the Halloween, <\/em>which will feature the unofficial Halloweentown<\/em> reunion.<\/p>\n As many millennials know, Halloweentown<\/em> first aired in 1998 as a Disney Channel Original Movie and spawned three sequels in later years\u2014Halloweentown II: Kalabar’s<\/em>Revenge<\/em> (2001), Halloweentown High<\/em> (2004) and Return to Halloweentown<\/em> (2006).<\/p>\n Brown <\/strong>and Kountz<\/strong>, who played Marnie Piper and Kal in the magical franchise (and then became real-life spouses), will star in the upcoming Hallmark movie as new residents of Evergreen Lane, Luna and Marvin, the neighbors of Lacey Chabert’s<\/strong> character Emily.<\/p>\n Haul Out the Halloween<\/em> capitalizes on spooky season for the first time, serving as a spinoff of Hallmark’s beloved Christmas movie franchise, Haul Out the Holly.<\/em><\/p>\n It’s a fitting casting because if there’s anyone who can spread the magic of Halloween, it’s the girl who uses her family magic to defeat the evil warlock Kalabar. In the film, Marnie discovers she’s a witch and uses her powers to save Halloweentown\u2014a magical world where supernatural beings live freely\u2014with her family, including grandmother Aggie Cromwell (played by the late Debbie Reynolds<\/strong>).<\/p>\n As for the spinoff film, while Evergreen “has long been modest when it comes to Halloween,\u201d the new couple on the block inspires everyone else to create “EverSCREAM Lane” as a fundraising event<\/p>\n \u201cAs\u00a0the\u00a0block pulls together to plan creepy contests, spine-chilling d\u00e9cor and a spooktacular carnival, new haunted hijinks ensue with Pamela, Ned, Mary Louise and\u00a0the\u00a0rest of\u00a0the\u00a0block,\u201d the official synopsis notes, via TVLine<\/em>. \u201cThrough\u00a0the\u00a0process, Emily rediscovers\u00a0the\u00a0joys of\u00a0the\u00a0holiday that she and her late grandmother once cherished.\u201d<\/p>\n Like in previous Haul Out the Holly<\/em> films, fans will see the return of the Mean Girls<\/em> alum as Emily, Melissa Peterman<\/strong> as Pamela, Wes Brown<\/strong> as Jared, Stephen Tobolowsky<\/strong> as Ned and Ellen Travolta<\/strong> as Mary Louise.<\/p>\n Photos from the movie also revealed some of the towns’ spirited costumes.<\/p>\n Naturally, there was a high level of excitement to see the Queen of Christmas and the Queen of Halloween kicking off the holiday season, as one fan wrote, “Beyond excited for this crossover!!!! \ud83c\udf83\u2764\ufe0f\ud83d\ude4c\ud83c\udffb\ud83d\udc51”<\/p>\n “CLOSE ENOUGH WELCOME BACK MARNIE AND CAL” someone else shouted, “ARE YOU KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW??
