Jimmy Fallon<\/a><\/strong> has officially broken his silence regarding ABC’s decision to pull Jimmy Kimmel<\/a><\/strong> Live!<\/a>from the air.<\/p>\n On Wednesday, Sept. 17, the network abruptly suspended<\/a> Kimmel’s late-night program “indefinitely” due to comments he made earlier in the week about the death of conservative podcaster Charlie Kirk<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n \ud83c\udfacSIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox<\/strong><\/a>\ud83c\udfac<\/p>\n Much of Hollywood has already spoken out<\/a> to condemn the network’s decision to suspend Kimmel’s program\u2014and now Fallon, one of the biggest names in late-night TV, has finally weighed in.<\/p>\n During Fallon’s opening monologue for Thursday’s episode of The Tonight Show<\/a>, the actor and comedian addressed the situation, stating, “The big story is that Jimmy Kimmel was suspended by ABC after pressure from the FCC, leaving everyone thinking, ‘WTF?'”<\/p>\n He also joked that he woke up to “100 text messages from my dad saying, ‘I’m sorry they canceled your show.’ I go, ‘That’s not me! That’s Jimmy Kimmel!'”<\/p>\n But getting more serious about the situation, Fallon said, “To be honest with you all, I don’t know what\u2019s going on, and no one does. But I do know Jimmy Kimmel, and he’s a decent, funny and loving guy, and I hope he comes back.”<\/p>\n Fallon went on to do what he does best and bring some levity to the situation. While addressing concerns that more late-night hosts<\/a> will be censored when talking about politically-loaded topics on their shows, specifically when it comes to criticizing Donald Trump<\/a><\/strong> and the MAGA movement, Fallon ensured fans that he will be carrying on with business as usual.<\/p>\n “A lot of people are worried that we won\u2019t keep saying what we want to say or that we\u2019ll be censored, but I\u2019m going to cover the president\u2019s trip to the U.K. like I normally would,” he insisted.<\/p>\n “Here we go.
