The two men who allege Cardi B<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s estranged husband, Offset<\/strong><\/a>, assaulted them at a Florida strip club are working to collect on the $232,000 he owes them, Us Weekly<\/em> can exclusively report.<\/p>\n

On August 29, Leamsy Izquierdo<\/strong> and Humberto Crespo<\/strong> filed court documents in Georgia, where Offset lives, to register the judgment they were awarded in a Miami court. The move is the first step in taking action to collect the money.<\/p>\n

Izquierdo and Crespo filed a lawsuit against Offset (real name: Kiari Cephus) in January 2021 over an incident at BT\u2019s On The River aka Booby Trap On The River. The duo said they were at the club on the same night as Offset and his then-wife Cardi, 32.<\/p>\n

Offset, 33, and Cardi were in the VIP area when she was sprayed by champagne from the crowd.<\/p>\n

In the suit, the duo alleged that Offset, out of nowhere, \u201cjumped from the elevated area in the VIP section to \u2026 assault\u201d and \u201cattack\u201d them.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tPregnant Cardi B and her estranged husband, Offset, had a friendly reunion in honor of their son Wave\u2019s 3rd birthday. Offset, 32, took to his Instagram Story to capture the Saturday, August 31, celebration, including a video of Cardi, 31, holding Wave on her hip. Cardi, who wore a cropped T-shirt that showed off her [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In the complaint, the two alleged victims claimed Offset hit them in their face, head and body. Both claim to have required medical attention and have had to deal with permanent injuries.<\/p>\n

The men also claimed to have emotional distress from the ordeal. In October 2024, the judge granted Izquierdo and Crespo default judgments after Offset failed to respond to the suit despite allegedly being served.<\/p>\n

In April, Offset filed court documents claiming he was not properly served. He asked that the judgment that was entered be dismissed and that he be allowed to respond to the lawsuit.<\/p>\n

In his motion, the rapper claimed the process server attempted to serve him at 4 a.m. inside a crowded nightclub in Miami. He claimed the music was loud and everyone was singing. He claimed the server never claimed he personally served him but rather he dropped the legal docs on the ground. Offset argued that it should not count as serving him.<\/p>\n

In a January 31, 2025, declaration, Offset wrote, \u201cMy wife and I are protected by a private security team at all performances, including the December 4, 2021, performance at [the nightclub]. According to our security protocols, members of the public are never permitted to approach me or my wife. I was not served with [the complaint]. I have no recollection of encountering a process server.\u201d<\/p>\n

The judge denied the motion due to procedural issues. Offset filed new docs on August 15, attempting to revive his request. A hearing has been set for February 2026.<\/p>\n

According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, the rappers are being sued for breach of contract and negligence by the owner of the L.A. property. The owner claimed that Cardi, 31, and Offset, 32, lived [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On top of the legal drama, Cardi, who filed for divorce from Offset<\/a> in July 2024 after seven years of marriage, recently spoke out about her ex during her interview with Gayle King<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so tired of people, like, associating me with somebody that is from the past because I filed for divorce a year ago. That should be very clear. I don\u2019t deal with that, I don\u2019t mess with that, I don\u2019t have no contact with that,\u201d Cardi said.<\/p>\n
