(KCTV) &#8211; Kansas City Royals reliever Lucas Erceg will end the regular season on the injured list.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Kansas City announced Friday that Erceg was placed on the 15-day injured list with right shoulder impingement syndrome. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Reliever Steven Cruz was reinstated from the injured list in a corresponding move.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">With the Royals currently a game below .500 and with FanGraphs giving them a 0.1% chance to make the playoffs, the injury likely ends Erceg\u2019s season.
