Online<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Kim Kardashian<\/a> once issued a stark warning to then-husband Kanye West<\/a>.<\/p>\n In the new documentary<\/a>, “In Whose Mind?<\/a>,” out now, featuring never-before-seen footage of the \u201cGold Digger\u201d rapper over the course of six years, he and Kardashian had a tense confrontation over it in 2018. The two had a tense phone call in which they discussed how he is perceived by the people in his life.<\/p>\n “I can’t sleep. I’ve been crying all day,” Kardashian told West during the 2018 conversation, according to People<\/a>. “It’s just this bad dream that’s not ending.”<\/p>\n However, West \u2014 who has in recent years stirred controversy over social media posts and politics \u2014 seemed to brush off Kardashian\u2019s concern. “I don’t care about the music business,\u201d he responded. \u201cI don’t care about the work field. I’m in a slave business.”<\/p>\n “The Kardashians” star then went on to caution her then-husband against that mentality, telling him, to which the SKIMS founder replied, “Just ’cause you have a job and you work hard doesn’t mean you’re a slave.”<\/p>\n And in a clip from the Nicolas Ballesteros documentary viewed by E! Never tell me I’m gonna wake up one day and have nothing. Never put that into the universe.”<\/p>\n E! News has reached out to Kardashian’s reps for comment and has not heard back.<\/p>\n The fiery phone call between Kardashian and West \u2014 who share North West, 12, Saint West, 9, Chicago West, 7, and Psalm West, 6 \u2014 is one of many strained exchanges between the two over his behavior.<\/p>\n
