\u201cAmerican Pickers\u201d fans received a big-time scare over the weekend when the show\u2019s star, Mike Wolfe, was involved in a scary looking car crash in Tennessee. <\/p>\n
Wolfe\u2019s girlfriend, Leticia Cline, was with him and the two were hospitalized afterward. She appears to have received the worst of it, posting on Instagram that she is headed for a couple of surgeries. <\/p>\n
While details surrounding the crash have yet to be released, and there is no evidence that the couple was at fault any way, it was not the first time this year that Wolfe has given his fans a scare when it comes to the road. <\/p>\n
Back in July he and Cline shared a video to Instagram highlighting a road trip they took on their Harley Davidson motorcycles.<\/p>\n
\u201cTook an 8 hour ride and made it 14, backroads most of the way and a hell of a lot of rain in the last stretch, but it was worth it because the (Harley Davidson Homecoming Festival) is something you don\u2019t want to miss. God bless America and (Harley Davidson),\u201d he wrote. <\/p>\n
There were plenty of clips of the couple zipping down the highway, and having a blast, but a couple cuts to the speedometer had fans wondering if Wolfe broke the law and others <\/b>telling him to calm down and be a little safer out there.<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n So, how fast did he get up to?<\/p>\n Well, in one clip, he shows a speedometer reading of 107.<\/p>\n Now, at least one fan questioned whether that was kilometers per hour \u2014 in which case he would have been going a little more than 66 miles per hour \u2014 or miles per hour.<\/p>\n \u201cBetter slow that pony down,\u201d one person wrote.<\/p>\n \u201cKind of stupid going that fast dude,\u201d another wrote.<\/p>\n \u201cSpeeding on a motorcycle in the (rain) is not smart,\u201d another wrote. \u201cGonna end up wrecking killing innocent people. Be safe not stupid to gain attention.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWhy you acting like your 16?\u201d another wrote. \u201cKeep the speed down (clown emoji)!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHope you had a good time,\u201d another wrote. \u201cHit a vehicle at 107 and you will see St. Peter. Be careful.\u201d<\/p>\n Others cheered it on, though.<\/p>\n \u201cDang that looks fun!!!!\u201d one person wrote.<\/p>\n \u201cMaking good memories it\u2019s all that matters,\u201d another wrote.<\/p>\n You can view the video and all of the comments here.<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n Again, there is no indication that the couple was at fault in the latest crash, but people love \u201cAmerican Pickers,\u201d and it is easy to understand why they might want Wolfe and Cline to take it easy out there. <\/p>\n The latest scare took place on Friday and Wolfe took to Instagram to share a few details. <\/p>\n \u201cBy the grace of God, we\u2019re both safe and okay,\u201d he wrote on Saturday. \u201cWe are both receiving excellent care, and while Leticia is still in the hospital, she is expected to make a full recovery. Thank you for respecting our privacy at this time, and we appreciate all of your love (and) prayers. God bless.\u201d<\/p>\n Wolfe shared a picture of the blue car they were in that revealed just how smashed in the front end was.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s been a rough nite, but now there\u2019s light at the end of the tunnel,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI truly believe in the power of group players. Thank you to all of you that have sent them to us.\u201d<\/p>\n Entertainment Weekly <\/b><\/a>said that Cline also shared some updates to her Instagram on Saturday, and it sounds like she was pretty beat up in the crash.<\/p>\n \u201cHopefully I get surgery tomorrow,\u201d she wrote. \u201cBroken jaw (in a few places), broken ribs, sternum, collapsed lung, and a lot of swelling on my spine. My mouth will be wired shut, but I still got my brain, and that\u2019s all that matters.\u201d<\/p>\n She shared a photo of herself lying in a hospital bed with a neck brace on.
