This is exactly where these Disney Channel<\/a> alums are supposed to be.<\/p>\n A Camp Rock 3 <\/em>movie is officially in the works for Disney+, with the film kicking off production earlier this week in Vancouver.<\/p>\n And while the forthcoming third installment will be helmed by a brand new cast of stars\u2014including Liamani Segura<\/strong> (who will play Sage), Malachi Barton<\/strong> (Fletch), Lumi Pollack<\/strong> (Rosie), Casey Trotter<\/strong> (Cliff) and Hudson Stone<\/strong> (Desi), Brooklynn Pitts<\/strong> (Callie) and Ava Jean<\/strong> (Madison)\u2014it doesn’t mean anyone has to say goodbye to the original actors from the movie musical.<\/p>\n After all, the streaming platform also confirmed that Demi Lovato<\/a>\u2014<\/strong>who portrayed Mitchie in Camp Rock<\/em> and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam<\/em>\u2014as well as the Jonas Brothers<\/strong><\/a>, who played the three members of the band Connect 3 in the first two films, have signed on as executive producers of the project.<\/p>\n More from E! Online<\/strong><\/p>\n Plus, Joe Jonas<\/strong><\/a>, Nick Jonas<\/strong><\/a> and Kevin Jonas<\/strong><\/a> are set to briefly reprise their roles in the third film, which picks up when Connect 3 lose their opening act for a major reunion tour and return to the titular camp to scout new talent.<\/p>\n And stepping back on set isn’t the only exciting move the Jonas Brothers and Demi have made as of late. Last month, the former costars reunited on stage<\/a> to perform the song “This Is Real” from the 2008 flick during a stop on the band’s Greetings From Your Hometown Tour.<\/p>\n
