Bill Maher<\/a> called out The View<\/a><\/em> for staying silent on the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em><\/a> after Jimmy Kimmel<\/a>\u2018s remarks following Charlie Kirk<\/a>\u2018s death.<\/p>\n On Friday, September 19<\/a>, Maher, 69, spoke extensively about ABC pulling Kimmel\u2019s show<\/a> on Real Time With Bill Maher<\/a><\/em>. He also drew attention to another ABC talk show, The View<\/em>, not addressing the situation despite the hosts tackling the biggest news stories and political topics.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m friendly with the ladies on The View<\/em>, but they didn\u2019t say anything about this, this week. Nothing,\u201d Maher pointed out.<\/p>\n He continued in a tongue-in-cheek manner, adding, \u201cYou know, because it\u2019s never been their thing to weigh in on the issues. It\u2019s just an upbeat party show. That\u2019s why they hired people named Joy [Behar]<\/a> and Sunny [Hoston]<\/a> and Whoopi [Goldberg]<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n Maher then issued a direct message to the trio of women who host The View<\/em> alongside Sara Haines<\/a>, Ana Navarro<\/a> and Alyssa Farah Griffin<\/a>. \u201cGirls, go out strong, OK? It won\u2019t kill you, I promise,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s happened to me, and I may go out after this show. We don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n After Maher\u2019s 2001 comments about the 9\/11 plane hijackers not being \u201ccowardly,\u201d ABC pulled his show at the time, Politically Incorrect<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cThis intimidation on the right is just so hypocritical. I mean, everyone is scared now and they\u2019re all trying to cowtow,\u201d Maher said elsewhere during his Real Time<\/em> opening monologue. \u201cGood Morning America<\/a><\/em> is changing its new to Good Morning America, Even the Scum Who Didn\u2019t Vote for Trump<\/em>. It\u2019s called Morning Wood<\/em> with James Woods<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n On September 14, Kimmel faced intense backlash after he suggested that Kirk\u2019s shooter was a right-wing extremist.<\/p>\n \u201cWe hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,\u201d he\u00a0said on\u00a0Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n Kimmel also criticized President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2018s response to how he was faring after Kirk\u2019s death. \u201cI think very good,\u201d the POTUS, 79, replied. \u201cAnd by the way, right there, you see all the trucks?
