Former Dancing With the Stars <\/i><\/a>pro Lindsay Arnold<\/strong><\/a> is not here for criticism from viewers after the season 34 premiere.<\/p>\n \u201cY\u2019all are mean. The amount of videos I\u2019ve seen [that are] literally trashing the pros, the troupe, the hosts and judges,\u201d Arnold, 31, said in a TikTok<\/a> video shared Thursday, September 18. \u201cIt\u2019s making me sick. I literally feel sick to my stomach. You understand that these are real people, right?\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cThis isn\u2019t some made-up TV show, where they\u2019re playing characters. This is not Conrad, Belly and Jeremiah [from The Summer I Turned Pretty<\/i>], where we can just comment on their decisions and their choices and their lives.\u201d<\/p>\n DWTS <\/i>season 34 premiered on Tuesday, September 16<\/a>, soon sparking a flood of social media criticism about lackluster choreography or low scores. (Judge Derek Hough<\/strong> said during the broadcast that he and Bruno Tonioli<\/strong> purposefully scored lower<\/a> so the contestants have room to grow throughout the season.)<\/p>\n Lindsay Arnold Still Wants to \u2018Know Everything\u2019 About \u2018Dancing With the Stars\u2019 Casting Ahead of Time<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cThese are real people, who are doing a job that literally none of you could do,\u201d Arnold, who won the mirrorball trophy during season 25, said on Thursday. \u201cThat\u2019s what kills me [with the] ‘my hot take, I don\u2019t think they did this good enough.\u2019 Let\u2019s see you do it. You couldn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n Lindsay attended Tuesday\u2019s live show with her family in support of sister Rylee Arnold<\/strong><\/a>, who is competing with singer Scott Hoying<\/strong>. That\u2019s my family [and those are] my friends. I\u2019m coming here to say that the job of being a pro is one of the hardest ever. All of you thinking you have any idea what it takes to be a pro makes me want to laugh.\u201d<\/p>\n Lindsay did acknowledge that \u201cit\u2019s OK\u201d for fans to root for their favorite pros<\/a>, but it\u2019s not alright to \u201cactively seek out\u201d ways of \u201cbashing and trashing\u201d anyone.<\/p>\n \u201cBe better,\u201d she concluded. \u201cPlease don\u2019t make me do another video like this defending all of my friends on a show that you guys are obsessed with.
