You look terrific.\u2019 No, that\u2019s not me and never will be.\u201d<\/p>\n In the aftermath of Disney\/ABC\u2019s decision to \u201cindefinitely<\/a>\u201d shelve Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/em>, current and former late-night hosts like David Letterman<\/a>, Stephen Colbert, Conan O\u2019Brien, Jon Stewart<\/a>, and even Jay Leno<\/a> have backed Kimmel, with Kamala Harris<\/a> and dozens more politicians slammed Trump and the FCC\u2019s attempts to stifle free speech<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cJimmy, pal, I am with you, I support you, and on the bright side, you don\u2019t have to pretend anymore that you like Disneyland,\u201d Maher added. \u201cThat was always a great part of it for me.\u201d<\/p>\n As the Real Time<\/em> host noted, he too lost his ABC show, Politically Incorrect<\/em>, following controversial comments he made following the 9\/11 attacks. \u201cIt was 24 years to the day that I made comments on ABC that got me canceled from that network, and Jimmy Kimmel took my slot,\u201d Maher said.<\/p>\n \u201cOh yes, I got canceled before cancel even had a culture\u2026 This shit ain\u2019t new. It\u2019s worse, we\u2019ll get to that, but you know, ABC, they are steady.
