Taylor Swift\u2019s fans have been buzzing about her forthcoming album since she announced it last month on fianc\u00e9 Travis Kelce\u2019s podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n That excitement went up a notch Friday when Swift announced \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl\u201d release party would take place in movie theaters across the country. The record itself will go on sale at midnight on Oct. 3 at Target stores.<\/a><\/p>\n In conjunction with the record release, Swift will be showing a movie at theaters across the nation.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Official Release Party of a Showgirl: Oct 3 – Oct 5 only in cinemas!\u201d Swift wrote in an Instagram post. \u201cYou\u2019ll get to see the exclusive world premiere of the music video for my new single \u2018The Fate of Ophelia\u2019, along with never before seen behind-the-scenes footage of how we made it, cut by cut explanations of what inspired this music, and the brand new lyric videos from my new album The Life of a Showgirl \u2764\ufe0f\u200d\ud83d\udd25\u201d<\/p>\n AMC said in a news release<\/a> that the \u201capproximately 89-minute show\u201d is scheduled to play Friday, Oct. 3; Saturday, Oct. 4; and Sunday, Oct. 5. The first show begins at 2 p.m. Central Time on Oct. 3.<\/p>\n The release party will be shown in all 540 AMC locations across the nation. That includes the AMC Northrock 14 in Wichita.<\/p>\n The cost is $12 plus tax, although there also could be a convenience fee, AMC said. You can buy tickets here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
