Luca Guadagnino, who\u2019s the director behind Roberts&#8217; one and only role on the <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/upcoming-movies-2025-movie-release-130453990.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:2025 movie schedule;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\"><u>2025 movie schedule<\/u><\/a>, just told a story about the time he received some delectable banana bread from the movie star, and it proved to be a hit.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Roberts and Guadagnino have been promoting <em>After The Hunt<\/em>, a psychological thriller set in the world of academia, also starring Andrew Garfield and Ayo Edebiri. The director, who\u2019s also helmed <em>Call Me By Your Name<\/em> and the viral <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cinemablend.com\/movies\/challengers-release-date-cast-trailer-and-other-things-we-know\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Zendaya movie Challengers;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \"><u>Zendaya movie <\/u><u><em>Challengers<\/em><\/u><\/a>, gushed about his relationship with Roberts with these words:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"mb-4 border-l-2 pl-5 italic text-tertiary\">\n<div class=\"\">\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">And I have a last, lovely thing. The director and production designer Stefano Baisi each took over one of their rooms. But here\u2019s how the banana bread really comes in, per Guadagnino:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"mb-4 border-l-2 pl-5 italic text-tertiary\">\n<div class=\"\">\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Yes. And we were sharing their bathroom. And then we left for Italy. And in the morning, there was a banana bread. Two loafs. So I ate one with Stefano, and the second one we took, and we were at the lounge waiting, and the staff of the lounge came to me: \u2018Oh, it looks very beautiful.\u2019 I said, \u2018Try it.\u2019 They came back, \u2018Who did this? This is the most beautiful banana bread.\u2019 They don\u2019t know it was Julia\u2019s banana bread, but people were starstruck by the banana bread.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Somewhere out there, I hope the random airline staff who was offered banana bread from Luca Guadagnino now knows they had the pleasure to try Julia Roberts\u2019 banana bread and didn\u2019t even know it. It\u2019s certainly a very random honor, but knowing that they tried it without the name drop and they loved it so much gives her storied banana bread some more clout.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">I\u2019m not sure if it\u2019s the same one the director was talking about, but if you\u2019re inspired by the story, I found a banana bread recipe on <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oprah.com\/food\/julia-roberts-banana-hemp-heart-muffins-recipe\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Oprah.com;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \"><u>Oprah.com<\/u><\/a> that was apparently created by Roberts and Candace Nelson.
