Obsess.<\/a><\/p>\n The other quote on the page comes from Italian software expert Alberto Brandolini, which reads, \u201cThe amount of energy necessary to refute bull s**t is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it.\u201d<\/p>\n This isn\u2019t the first time that the former Vice President referenced Lamar\u2019s music. In June 2024, Harris appeared in a pre-taped segment at the BET Awards in which she mentioned the rapper\u2019s famous Drake diss, \u201cNot Like Us.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n In a taped FaceTime call with Taraji P. Henson<\/a>, Harris and the actor (who hosted the show) spoke about the then-upcoming election. \u201cWomen\u2019s reproductive rights are on the line, our Supreme Court is on the line,\u201d Henson said. \u201cOur basic freedoms are being tested Madame VP! I know you\u2019ve been traveling across the country. What have you been hearing?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYeah, girl, I\u2019m out here in these streets, and let me tell you \u2014 you\u2019re right, Taraji, there is so much at stake in this moment,\u201d Harris responded. \u201cThe majority of us believe in freedom and equality. But these extremists, as they say \u2014 ‘they not like us.’\u201d<\/p>\n Elsewhere in her memoir, Harris revealed how she was \u201cangry and disappointed\u201d when Joe Biden<\/a> called her a few hours before her presidential debate<\/a> with Donald Trump<\/a> to suggest that some powerful friends of Biden\u2019s brother didn\u2019t want to support her.<\/p>\n \u201cHis brother had told him that those guys were not going to support me because I\u2019d been saying bad things about him,\u201d wrote Harris. \u201cHe wasn\u2019t inclined to believe it, he claimed, but he thought I should know in case my team had been encouraging me to put daylight between the two of us.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cJoe then rattled on about his own former debate performances. \u2018I beat him the other time; I wasn\u2019t feeling well in that last one,\u2019\u201d she added. \u201cHe continued to insist that his debate performance hadn\u2019t hurt him much with the electorate.
