ALKALINE TRIO<\/strong> have released a brand new music video!<\/p>\n

The new single, titled Bleeding<\/strong> Out<\/strong>, is the second of three songs recorded with producer Travis Barker<\/strong> of BLINK-182<\/strong>. It follows the recently released Oblivion<\/strong><\/a> and marks the first studio sessions to feature the current lineup of Matt<\/strong> Skiba<\/strong>, Dan<\/strong> Andriano<\/strong> and Atom<\/strong> Willard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the sessions, Travis<\/strong> Barker<\/strong> says, \u201crecording with ALKALINE TRIO<\/b>\u00a0was such a treat. Bringing these songs to life from the demos Matt<\/strong> recorded was so exciting. Both Matt<\/strong> and Dan<\/strong> are incredible lyricists, two of my all-time favourites. The studio never feels like work, just a magical place to create. The process was so natural and easy, I could\u2019ve kept going forever. Really proud of these songs that me, Matt<\/strong>, Dan<\/strong>, and Atom<\/strong> recorded. Excited for what\u2019s ahead for ALKALINE TRIO<\/b> and for fans to hear these special songs we made.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Matt Skiba<\/strong> says, \u201cthe release of the new songs we did with Travis Barker<\/strong> and Adam Hawkins<\/strong> mirrors the recording process. We\u2019re releasing them in the order in which we recorded them, which I feel mirrors the excitement and energy felt in the studio when we were writing and recording them. Bleeding Out<\/strong>\u00a0has an energy and a spontaneity that reflects the vibe in the studio as accurately as anything could. I\u2019m really excited to share this song with our fellow earthlings. You can sing and dance along to it, and sadly, it\u2019s a song of our time.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Dan Andriano<\/strong> adds, \u201creally proud to announce our next offering in this three-single series, Bleeding<\/strong> Out<\/strong>. Matt<\/strong>\u2019s demo really did a lot of the heavy lifting as we could all tell right away what kind of song it was going to be and we just started to groove. Travis instantly had great ideas about the instrumentation and harmonies, the candy \u2013 if you will. And I think the organic way it came together is really apparent in the fun and dancey flow of the song.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Atom Willard<\/strong> concludes, \u201cBleeding<\/strong> Out<\/strong>\u2018 is easily one of the funnest songs to play that I\u2019ve ever recorded\u2026 I get to do all kinds of great stuff throughout, and I\u2019m honestly just so proud of how it came out. Matt and Travis both had some killer ideas that made their way into post-choruses and outro. Super fun to make, super fun to play.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
