Tom Holland was recently rushed to the hospital after a stunt went wrong on the set of the newest Spider-Man<\/em>.<\/p>\n

According to The Sun<\/a>, Holland cracked his head open in a fall while filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/em> in England, and is believed to have suffered a concussion.<\/p>\n

A woman who was reportedly a stunt double in the scene was also carried off set in an ambulance with an injury.<\/p>\n

According to Holland\u2019s dad, famous comedian Dominic Holland, his famous son will be away from filming for \u201ca while.\u201d He shared the news to press while attending a charity dinner. His son appeared at the dinner with his famous fianc\u00e9e Zendaya, but left early due to illness. <\/p>\n

However, a statement from a source<\/a> at Deadline says that Holland only took a break \u201cout of precaution\u201d and will return to the set in a few days.<\/p>\n

Medical professionals provided the following statement regarding the fall: \u201cWe were called at 10:30 am on Friday to attend to a patient who had sustained an injury at Leavesden Studios in Watford\u2026 An ambulance was sent to the scene, and the patient was transported to hospital for further care.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new movie, which is filming on location in England and Scotland, has Holland \u201cover the moon and so excited\u201d after his previous movie, No Way Home<\/em>, was filmed entirely on soundstages.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow, we\u2019re really gonna lean into that old-school filmmaking and shoot in real locations, which is why we\u2019re starting in Glasgow and we\u2019re gonna use the streets of Glasgow to build this massive set-piece that we\u2019re putting together,\u201d Holland said earlier this year<\/a>. \u201cSo it\u2019s gonna feel like making [2017\u2019s] Spider-Man<\/em> 1 again. It\u2019s been such a long time since I\u2019ve done it, it\u2019s gonna feel like a breath of fresh air, and I think the fans are going to be over the moon with what we\u2019re putting together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/em> is set to hit theaters next July.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
