Sleaford Mods<\/a> have announced a UK and Ireland tour for 2026, and teased that more new music is coming. Find all the details below.<\/p>\n The post-punk duo \u2013 comprising Jason Williamson and Andrew Fearn \u2013 are due to hit the road early next year.<\/p>\n Kicking off at the legendary Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow on Friday February 6, the forthcoming trek also includes stops in Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Cardiff, Dublin, Belfast, Cork, Oxford, Nottingham, Bristol and Brighton.<\/p>\n The run of dates is set to conclude with a headline performance at the O2 Academy Brixton in London on Saturday March 7.<\/p>\n \u201cWe took a year off \u2019cause I needed to get my nails did, and now we\u2019re itching to get back out there and play live,\u201d said frontman Williamson. \u201cWe released a new single \u2018Megaton\u2019<\/a> last week, it\u2019s an absolute banger so we\u2019re buzzing to play that live for the first time.\u201d<\/p>\n He went on to hint at further new material on the horizon: \u201cWho knows, we might have a few more new tracks to drop by then. Either way, it\u2019s been a while since we toured, and we\u2019re gagging for it.\u201d<\/p>\n Tickets go on general sale at 10am BST this Friday (September 26) \u2013 you\u2019ll be able to buy yours here<\/a>. Alternatively, fans can access a pre-sale on Wednesday (24) by signing up<\/a> to Sleaford Mods\u2019 mailing list before midnight tomorrow (23).<\/p>\n The band are donating \u00a31\/\u20ac1 from every ticket sold to War Child<\/a>. They previously confirmed that they would be donating the proceeds from \u2018Megatron\u2019 to the charity, as part of an ongoing partnership.<\/p>\n Sleaford Mods teamed up with Hot Chip<\/a> last November on \u2018Nom Nom Nom\u2019 and \u2018Cat Burglar\u2019, with both of those songs also benefiting War Child<\/a>. At the start of this year, the duo revealed<\/a> that they had raised over \u00a347,000 for the charity.<\/p>\n Clare Sanders-Wright, War Child\u2019s Live Music Lead, said in a new statement: \u201cWe\u2019re incredibly grateful to Sleaford Mods for their continued generosity and support.
