Tom Holland has suffered a concussion on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/a>, causing filming to halt.<\/p>\n On Friday, September 19, 2025, Tom Holland<\/a> was reportedly rushed to a hospital near the movie’s set after a stunt went wrong while filming. The actor hit his head, suffering a concussion. British tabloid\u00a0The Sun<\/a> was first to break the news, which has since been confirmed by multiple industry publications, including Deadline, Variety, and The Hollywood Reporter, among others.<\/p>\n Holland was reportedly transported to the hospital in an ambulance and was released shortly after receiving treatment. Filming for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, slated for a July 2026 release, was suspended on Friday and will be on hold for the time being, \u201cout of precaution,\u201d\u00a0Deadline<\/a>\u00a0has learned.<\/p>\n Filming is expected to resume in a matter of days, with execs from Marvel and Sony, who produce the film in tandem, reportedly<\/a> meeting today, September 22, to discuss the new production schedule.<\/p>\n Per The Sun, Holland’s father, Dominic Holland, confirmed his son would be out of filming \u201cfor a while\u201d at a Posh Pub Quiz event with The Brothers Trust on September 20, 2025. Tom Holland was in attendance at the event with fianc\u00e9e Zendaya<\/a>, but reportedly left early<\/a> after feeling unwell.<\/p>\n Filming for Spider-Man: Brand New Day began in location in Glasgow, Scotland, on August 1, 2025.
