Prince Harry<\/strong><\/a> and Meghan Markle<\/strong><\/a> are looking back at their childhood memories of Disneyland \u2014 and what it was like to take their children, Prince Archie<\/strong><\/a> and Princess Lilibet<\/strong><\/a>, earlier this year.<\/p>\n The Duke and Duchess of Sussex took part in ABC\u2019s The Happiest Story on Earth: 70 Years of Disneyland \u2013 Special Edition of 20\/20<\/em>, which aired on Sunday, September 21, detailing their June trip to Disneyland<\/a> for Lili\u2019s 4th birthday.<\/p>\n Meghan, 44, said, it was \u201camazing\u201d to see the Disney theme park \u201cthrough your children\u2019s eyes,\u201d recalling some of her early memories of the popular Anaheim, California, destination.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s just so magical. I\u2019m a Southern California girl, so being able to go to Disneyland is a lot more accessible than it is for most people, but it\u2019s still the biggest treat in the world,\u201d Meghan said.<\/p>\n Meghan, who grew up in Los Angeles, added, \u201cOne of my biggest experiences of Disneyland was going for grad night. Grad night\u2019s all high school seniors, you go after hours, it\u2019s dark \u2026 I don\u2019t know why they let us do that! It\u2019s so much fun!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s something I should probably do,\u201d Harry, 41, said. \u201cCan you do that in your 40s?\u201d he went on to quip.<\/p>\n Harry also shared his own memories of visiting Disney World in Orlando, Florida, in 1993 with his late mom, Princess Diana<\/strong>, and brother Prince William<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cI remember losing it as a kid with all the characters. Like, losing it! \u2018This is amazing,\u2019\u201d Harry remembered. \u201cSpace Mountain was one of my favorite things.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cStill one of your favorite rides, by the way,\u201d Meghan sweetly reminded Harry, who noted that he went on the ride \u201cprobably 10, 12 times.\u201d<\/p>\n The proud parents got to recreate one of Harry\u2019s memories from his childhood during their trip with Archie, 6, and Lili, as pictures and videos shared by Meghan<\/a> in June show that the family enjoyed a ride on Tiana\u2019s Bayou Adventure. Harry rode an earlier version of the ride \u2014 then known as Splash Mountain \u2014 with his mom and brother in 1993.<\/p>\n \u201cFor us to be able to have our own childhood memories and then watch that play out through our daughter\u2019s birthday \u2026 Archie said, \u2018When\u2019s my birthday?\u2019\u201d Meghan shared of their recent trip.<\/p>\n
