Tyler Posey<\/a> isn\u2019t done with the Teen Wolf<\/em><\/a> franchise just yet, as the actor reveals he has written a script for a second film and has cast members on board.<\/p>\n

Speaking to People<\/em><\/a> at the Los Angeles premiere for London Calling<\/em><\/a>, Posey, who played lead Scott McCall, said of Teen Wolf<\/em>, \u201cWe did a film for Paramount a few years ago now, and originally it was a three-picture deal, and then it sort of abandoned ship after the first movie. But everybody wants more.\u201d<\/p>\n

Teen Wolf: The Movie<\/em><\/a>\u00a0was released in 2023 and was written by Jeff Davis, the man behind the Teen Wolf<\/em> TV series that ran on MTV from 2011 to 2017. News on the future of the franchise has since gone quiet, but Posey revealed he has a sequel script \u201cready to go,\u201d though it will \u201cprobably need a couple rewrites\u201d as he \u201cwrote it a few years ago.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI was the leader of the cast. Now I want to be the leader for the entire project,\u201d Posey stated, noting that the \u201cconcept\u201d for the second film is \u201camazing.\u201d He added, \u201cI feel like I know what the fans want, and I want to deliver it for them. They\u2019ve been amazing to us over the years, and I want to give it to them.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked about the cast, the Doc<\/em> alum told People<\/em>, \u201cWe definitely have some people on board.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to Posey, the Teen Wolf<\/em> movie starred Crystal Reed<\/a> as Allison Argent, Holland Roden<\/a> as Lydia Martin, Shelley Hennig<\/a> as Malia Tate, JR Bourne<\/a> as Chris Argent, Ian Bohen<\/a> as Peter Hale, Colton Haynes<\/a> as Jackson Whittemore, Linden Ashby<\/a> as Noah Stilinski, Melissa Ponzio<\/a> as Melissa McCall, Ryan Kelley<\/a> as Jordan Parrish, Seth Gilliam<\/a> as Alan Deaton, and more.<\/p>\n

The film (and MTV series) was a\u00a0supernatural\u00a0reimagining\u00a0of the\u00a01985 film of the same name,\u00a0which starred Michael J. Fox<\/a> in the titular role.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to continue it,\u201d Posey added. \u201cMe and all the fans and a lot of the actors feel like it was halted at a time where we should have kept it going. So I think there\u2019s more to come.\u201d<\/p>\n
