Prince Harry<\/strong><\/a> has no plans to return as a senior working member of the royal family.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> understands that Harry, 41, is happy with his life in California alongside wife Meghan Markle<\/strong> and their two kids, Prince Archie<\/strong> and Princess Lilibet<\/strong>. He will not be making a return to the U.K. for a full-time or part-time role, and is just looking for a reconciliation with his family.<\/p>\n

The Daily Mail<\/em><\/a> reported on Monday, September 21, that Harry will \u201cnever\u201d be allowed back into the royal family fold as a \u201chalf-in, half-out\u201d senior member. Us<\/em> understands that this report is wide of the mark when it comes to the Duke of Sussex\u2019s actual plans.<\/p>\n

Reports about Harry\u2019s future within his family come after his recent return home to the U.K. where he met up with his father, King Charles III<\/strong>, for a private tea. This was the first time they were face-to-face in nearly two years.<\/p>\n

Harry was pleased to see Charles, 76, during the trip earlier this month<\/a>. The duke discussed opening that door with Charles<\/a> during a recent interview with The Guardian<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe focus really has to be on my dad,\u201d he said at the time, confirming that he is open to bringing Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, to his home country. \u201cThis week has definitely brought that closer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harry previously ruled against a trip to the U.K. with his kids after losing his appeal for government-funded security<\/a> earlier this year. (Harry and Meghan, 43, decided to permanently relocate from the U.K. to the United States in 2020.)<\/p>\n

\u201cI think parts of the British press want to believe that I am miserable, but I\u2019m not,\u201d Harry also told The Guardian<\/em>. \u201cI am very happy with who I am, and I like the life that I live.\u201d<\/p>\n
