Dave Coulier\u2019s wife, Melissa Coulier, took to Instagram to share a sweet birthday message to her partner of 11 years. <\/p>\n
\u201cThis year\u2019s turn feels like the luckiest rotation yet!\u201d the photographer penned<\/a>. \u201cYou\u2019re still here, the brightest light defying the dark. Forever grateful. Love you more than anything DB @dcoulier<\/a>!\u201d<\/p>\n Melissa added, \u201cHelp me wish this man a very happy birthday. \ud83d\udcab\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cFull House\u201d star, 66, is in remission from Stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma.<\/p>\n Coulier first revealed his diagnosis in November 2024.<\/p>\n At the time, the \u201cFuller House\u201d star appeared on\u00a0\u201cToday\u201d\u00a0<\/a>and explained to viewers that he first noticed his symptoms when he got a cold and spotted a large lump in his groin.<\/p>\n \u201cIt swelled up immediately,\u201d Coulier recalled. \u201cI thought, \u2018Wow, I\u2019m either really sick, or my body\u2019s really reacting to something.\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cAmerica\u2019s Funniest People\u201d host never thought he\u2019d hear the word cancer. <\/p>\n \u201cThe first thing I said to them was, \u2018Wait a minute \u2014 cancer?\u2019 \u201d Coulier said. \u201c[I was] feeling like I got punched in the stomach because it never happens to you. You always hear about it happening to someone else.\u201d<\/p>\n Last month, Coulier\u2019s former co-star and longtime friend, John Stamos, gave an update on the comedian<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI go see him. He\u2019s doing great,\u201d the star, 62, revealed to\u00a0People<\/a>.<\/p>\n Stamos\u00a0noted, \u201cWe have a couple shows we\u2019re doing together. We\u2019re going to Japan in a couple weeks to do little Comic Con thing, which would be good. And it\u2019s just fun to spend time with him, and he\u2019s doing great.\u201d<\/p>\n \u00a0The \u201cGrandfathered\u201d alum previously expressed that\u00a0he\u2019s been by Coulier\u2019s\u00a0<\/a>side since\u00a0he first announced his cancer diagnosis<\/a> in 2024.<\/p>\n \u201cDave and I talk a lot,\u201d the \u201cGeneral Hospital\u201d vet told\u00a0Us Weekly<\/a>\u00a0in August. \u201cYou know, we lost\u00a0Bob [Saget], and I couldn\u2019t bear losing Dave<\/a>, so I\u2019ve been with him a lot during this cancer journey of his.\u201d<\/p>\n As Stamos noted, Coulier is now \u201c100% back to Dave.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s great to see that the treatments work,\u201d he added. \u201cAnd it\u2019s great to see him out there talking about it, to help other people that are going through the same thing.\u201d<\/p>\n Stamos previously came under fire<\/a> for sporting a bald cap to show his support for Coulier after he underwent treatment.<\/a><\/p>\n The \u201cBig Shot\u201d actor shared\u00a0a series of Instagram shots<\/a>\u00a0in November that showed him wearing the cap next to Coulier, who had shaved his head.<\/p>\n Despite the backlash, Coulier stood by his friend.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m sorry to see a bunch of negative comments as I\u2019ve just begun my cancer journey,\u201d he penned in an\u00a0Instagram statement<\/a>\u00a0at the time.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s our friendship (me and John) and this is how we are handling a very tough time,\u201d Coulier continued. \u201cI\u2019m a comedian and humor is what drives me. John knows how to cheer me up and I laughed out loud when he arrived wearing a bald cap \u2014 being a true loving friend and brother.\u201d<\/p>\n Five months after he revealed the news, the star shared that he was in remission after a biopsy confirmed\u00a0that he was cancer-free.<\/p>\n \u201cOne of the few times in my life when \u2018zero\u2019 has been a great number to hear,\u201d Coulier told\u00a0Parade<\/a>\u00a0in March.<\/p>\n Along with receiving a clean bill of health, he\u00a0learned that he had become a grandfather<\/a> that same day.<\/p>\n \u201cI got the good news the day the baby was born,\u201d Coulier said while on an episode of the\u00a0\u201cHow Rude, Tanneritos!\u201d<\/a>\u00a0podcast in April. \u201cSo I heard the news and I was so excited, and then Luc called us and he said, \u2018Hey, the baby just was born.\u2019 And so, I mean, it was an amazing day.\u201d<\/p>\n His son, Luc, welcomed his baby boy, Chance Lee, with his wife, Alex, on March 27, per\u00a0People<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was really amazing, you know?\u201d Coulier gushed. \u201cSo we were like, \u2018Oh, this is just too much!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
