Barbra Streisand<\/strong> is reflecting on her friendship with the late Robert Redford<\/strong>, according to a source.<\/p>\n A source tells Examiner the 83-year-old EGOT winner, who starred alongside Redford in the 1973 romantic drama The Way We Were, is \u201cfilled with regret she didn\u2019t spend more time\u201d with the actor before he passed.<\/p>\n \u201cYes, they were able to reconnect one time he was in L.A. a few years ago, but they had very little opportunity to do it again, and she feels she should have done more and made more of an effort to visit him in Utah,\u201d the source claims.<\/p>\n The source notes that the Funny Girl star has \u201clost quite a few dear friends\u201d over the last couple of years, including Alan Bergman<\/strong> in July, his wife, Marilyn Bergman<\/strong>, in 2022, and Stephen Sondheim<\/strong> in 2021.<\/p>\n However, while the source points out that \u201cthese are tough times\u201d for Streisand, they also note \u201cshe\u2019s determined to live her best life while she can and maintain the friendships she still has.\u201d<\/p>\n Daily Mirror \/ Mirrorpix\/Newscom\/The Mega Agency<\/span><\/p>\n As Examiner previously reported<\/a>, on Tuesday, September 16, Redford passed away early in the morning in his sleep at his Utah home, according to\u00a0 The New York Times<\/a>.
